1. Rental Requirements

Renters must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver's license required (held for minimum 1 year)
Major credit card in renter's name required
International visitors must have a valid passport and international driver's permit

2. Reservation & Payment

Reservations require a valid credit card to hold
Pay Later balances may be paid any time after booking and must be completed before vehicle handoff
A security deposit may be required
Prices are subject to change without notice

3. Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup
Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a fee
No-shows will be charged the full rental amount

4. Vehicle Use

The rented vehicle may only be operated:

By authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement
On paved roads (unless otherwise specified)
Within the island of Oahu
In compliance with all traffic laws

5. Prohibited Uses

Off-road driving (unless specified in rental agreement)
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Racing or reckless driving
Smoking in the vehicle
Transporting hazardous materials
Subletting or using vehicle for commercial purposes

6. Insurance & Liability

Basic liability coverage is included. Additional coverage options are available:

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Personal Accident Insurance
Roadside Assistance

Renter is responsible for any damage not covered by insurance.

7. Return Policy

Vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and location
Late returns may incur additional charges
Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as pickup
Vehicle should be returned in clean condition

8. SMS Text Message Program

ALOHA RIDES HI OPS LLC, operating as Aloha Rides / Hawaii Jeep Rent, sends text messages only to people who opt in on our SMS preferences page. There are two independent programs, and you may choose either or both:

Trip and customer care messages: booking confirmations, pickup and return reminders, fuel and handoff details, and support replies.
Promotional messages: reminders to finish a booking you started and occasional offers or discounts.

Consent to promotional messages is optional and is not a condition of renting a vehicle or of any other purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We share them only with the contracted service providers necessary to deliver and store the messages and consent records on our behalf, such as our messaging platform and carrier and our hosting and database provider. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
